Happy Memorial Day weekend!  If you're celebrating, I hope everything is going just as you've planned :)  It's Kris and here in Wyoming, it's snowing!  Good excuse to stay indoors and scrap, if you ask me!

Summer Fun!

Memorial Day is almost here, which means Summer is just around the corner. The weather is changing and temperatures are starting to rise, the school year is coming to and end and Echo Park's Splash and Summer Days collections have arrived at Scrapbook Daisies! Blog Challenge #2!

HAPPY MOTHER'S Day to all of you out there!!! I hope it is FANTASTIC!!!!

Today, I have a new sketch for you all!  It is a Pagemaps BEAUTY!
It caught my eye immediately, because of the summery feel to it.  There are soooooooo many possibilities to this sketch!

 While I had aTON of ideas, I settled on this layout of my girls at the beach.  I worked in my oldest daughter's 8x8 album, and the sketch converted fantastically!  I worked with an older Daisies kit, and it worked nicely with these photos!

We have the privilege this week of using Creative Scrappers sketch #147 designed by Amarilys Doria.  We really appreciate that Kristine Davidson gave us her blessing to use this gorgeous sketch for our challenge this week!  By the way, did you know that Creative Scrappers is currently celebrating 3 years of creativity?!  Incredible!

The DT daisies love, love, love this sketch.  We felt it was screaming to us!  We hope you love it too.

Scrapbook Daisies News

Hello everyone!  Kris here.  If you are a Scrapbook Daisies kit club subscriber or member of the message board, you should have recently received an email from Martha describing some exciting changes to Scrapbook Daisies.  In case you missed the email, here is a summary of the changes:

The brick and mortar store in Long Beach, California is doing extremely well.  Lots and lots of the latest and greatest products have been arriving to the store, and seats for classes and crops have been filling very quickly!  We are so very thrilled for Martha and Tony.

The online kit club division of Scrapbook Daisies will be undergoing some significant, positive changes beginning May 1st.  Hey... that's today!  Don't worry... Scrapbook Daisies will continue to make available one of a kind kits using the latest and greatest products.  Details of the changes are as follows:

As of now, kits may be revealed at any given time, rather than adhering to a set schedule.  Some months there will be one kit revealed and other months there may be two or three kits revealed.  There may even be some months where no kit is revealed.

New kits will be advertised here on the blog, on our Facebook page, at Willow Traders, and on the design team members' blogs.  Kits will be sold via a PayPal button right here on the blog on a first-come, first-served basis.  They will not be produced in mass quantity, so be sure to keep on the lookout for the kits when they're revealed.  The Basic Grey kit of the month will continue as scheduled.

There are also going to be changes to the way our challenges are managed.  Everything is going to be streamlined right here on our blog!  There will no longer be a need to comb through various posts on the message board to find activities to play along with.  In fact, the message board will be phased out completely by the end of May.  Feel free to continue to visit and post there for now, but by June all activity should be running from right here on our blog.

Look for our fun challenges to be posted here on the blog every Sunday starting on May 1st.  Yeah!  That's today!  A winner will be selected shortly after the end of each month.  You have to participate to win :)
