December's Color Challenge!
I love, love, love blue! So, this time I am going to do the color challenge a little different. I want you to pick your favorite color and use brown like I did. I have a little cream in there too, so you can add that if you want. Here is my layout!

Layouts for this challenge need to be newly created between the start of this challenge and the last day of the month. The projects must be uploaded in the December's Color Challenge thread in our forum. We'd also love to see your layout in our gallery, but it is not required. The monthly prize winner will be selected shortly after the end of the month. The winner will receive a past kit!!!

December 2010 Page Map Challenge!

Did you hear the news?
A message from Martha!
Hello Everyone,
Most December kits are shipping tomorrow! There are a couple of items from the Merry January kit that I will receive today. If you ordered an add on and did not pay for it yet, you will be receiving an invoice shortly. The Merry January kit is sold out now! If you selected that kit but did not pay for it, you need to select another kit or skip this month.
I continue to have many challenges with the manufacturers about product, either they are sold out completely or items are on back order, I have never had issues like this before until the last 4 or 5 months. So I decided to make some changes to the kit club to help this situation and I am also moving the schedule to help the members that can not make their kit payments until the 1st of the month. As you know I have a full time job and also now the brick and mortar store so I try do do my shipments all at once when everyone has paid. So here are the changes:
I am bringing down the choices from 3 to 2 full kits per month
I will have 1 or 2 mini kits per month that will range between $15 - $20
The schedule will change as follows:
20th of the month - Sneak peeks
25th of the month - Full Reveals
25th - 28th - Member's kit selection
29th - Invoices are sent
29th - 3rd - Members must pay their invoices
2nd week of the month (Monday or Tuesday) kits will ship out
Hopefully this will assist me in getting the kits ready for you more timely and will assist you in getting payment to me promptly.
I am really excited about the changes that are coming, with today's economy the people that can not afford a full kit might be able to get a mini kit! The mini kits will have the same great quality of product just in smaller quantities.

Yet Another December Challenge!!
Hi everyone! I'd really love to see you play along with our December Journaling challenge!
This month I would like to see you use anything but your own writing to do your journaling AND I would like to see your journaling presented in any shape other than a straight line!!!
Here's my example. I used tiny alpha stickers to do my journaling, and I presented the journaling in a curved shape. This was a gift for my sister-in-law after her beloved dog passed away.
Be creative! You don't have to use alpha stickers... you can use your computer or typewriter to print your journaling... you can have your family member write the journaling... it can be anything except your own writing! Remember, no straight lines either! You can journal around your photo mat, or around a shape like a circle or star or flower... use your imagination and let's see your creativity!
You have the entire month of December to complete any of our December challenges here and here. One lucky person will WIN AN ENTIRE SCRAPBOOK DAISIES KIT!!!

Layout of the Week - December 6th
I have the honor of browsing our fabulous user gallery today to choose this week's Layout of the Week. Congratulations, Nicole ("niknik" on our message board)!!!
Her beautiful layout just jumped right out of the gallery and into my lap this week! I love the design, the colors, and the perfect placement of all of the elements on her fabulous winter-themed layout. Furthermore, her photos are incredibly super cute and I love the effect of the black and white! This layout would look wonderful in a magazine, dont'cha think?!
