Scrapbook Daisies Opening Celebration

We're just ONE week away from the opening of Scrapbook Daisies' brick and mortar store! Martha and Tony are putting in the finishing touches! So join us IN PERSON or ONLINE! Here is a rundown of the festivities:

The store will officially open on Friday, October 1st from 10AM to Midnight. Join us us for our first crop night for just $10. The crop room holds 20 so call us at 562-377-0302 to reserve your spot.

The festivities will continue BOTH IN THE STORE AND ONLINE on Saturday, October 2nd with store hours from 10AM to 6PM . Join us AT THE STORE from 12PM to 4PM for cake and make-n-takes by Ly Le and Nicole Capote. Ly will be making a card using Imaginsce paper and Nicole will be making a 1-page layout using Prima papers. Here's the store Info:

Join our Design Team as we chat on our Message Board and on Facebook with hourly games and prizes, challenges and inspirational layouts, and of course, the play-by-play of what's happening at the store... we will be posting pictures and videos of the store and make-n-takes so that you too can join in on the fun!

Sketch Challenges

That super fab layout by Hannie was inspired by our September 10th sketch.  Its a Kristine Davidson sketch of Creavite Scrappers fame!

Here are the details on this challenge!

Challenge Details:
Create a layout using the sketch below as your inspiration.
Layouts must be newly created between September 10th and September 30th.
Upload your layouts into the "Sketches Sept 2010" gallery folder and link them here in this thread by midnight PST on September 30th.
September sketches prize winner will be announced shortly after the 30th!

Layout of the the Week...Hannie!

This layout caught my eye right away! For one, I love using trees, clouds and birds on my layouts and two just the way she used all of this gorgeous Echo Park! Wonderful job Hannie love it all!

Since I have been super sick this last couple of weeks, I have not had the opportunity to explore the new site and gallery very much. I did, however, go in and see some GORGEOUS stuff on the first page! WOW!!!! I love it all, and this layout by Jean caught my attention right off...

I, too, have not figured out how to make it larger, or even leave comments, but if you do, go leave her a comment and Congratulate her...her layout is this week's featured Layout of the Week!!!!

We are making progress

Opening a store is a LOT of work, I had no idea all it takes, painting, buying fixtures, permits, turning on utilities, insurance, alarm, etc, etc...But I got some great helpers taking care of the painting...check it out!

We got the keys!

We got the keys to the store about a week and a half ago, here is a picture of what it looked when we got the keys

Finally it is happening!

Scrapbookdeals4u has changed its name to "Scrapbook Daisies" ...well you are probably wondering why??

I am in the process of opening a Brick and Mortar Scrapbook Store!

I will continue with the site and the kit club but I wanted to just have one name for all...

The store will hopefully open by October/November and if you are local be sure to visit us when we open!
I am super excited! This has been my dream for many years and I am finally doing it!
Please pray for the success of my new venture and send good vibes my way!

We will be Celebrating this new venture soon! Even if you are not local, you will join in the fun! I promise!
