The Scoot collection from Echo Park has arrived at Scrapbook Daisies. It's perfect for little boys and big boys too!

Just Because

Have you seen the new "Just Because" collection from Little Yellow Bicycle? It has beautiful teals, reds and navy blue, so bright and pretty, just in time for Spring!

The flowers were "fussy cut" from one of the coordinating papers, a few rhinestones added for some sparkle and the title was cut with a Silhouette die cutting machine.

Be sure to look for the Just Because collection the next time you're at Scrapbook Daisies!

Electronic Die Cutting Machines

Do you ever use an electronic die cutting machine? Over the past few years, the Cricut and Silhouette have both become popular for both scrapbooking and card making. Here's an example of a layout made with the Silhouette, using a cut file and the "Collectable" collection from My Minds Eye.

This shows up close how the kraft colored cardstock was cut, and then various pieces of paper were layered behind. 

Although it looks hard to make, it really was pretty easy!  Layouts like this are perfect for photos that aren't of a specific place or occasion.

True Friends!

Here's a layout made with the new "True Friends" collection from Carta Bella.

This is such a cute collection of papers and embellishments! Perfect for new photos and heritage photos too.

Ready Set Go!

The new "Boy Crazy" from My Minds Eye has been such a popular collection since it arrived at the store! Bright colors and and amazing designs in true My Minds Eye style.

A little bit of twine added to the rocket, and this quick and cute layout was complete. Be sure to look for Boy Crazy and also My Girl the next time you're in the store!

Unforgettable

This was made with the brand new "Unforgettable" collection from My Minds Eye. Don't you just love the colors!!

 

The cute matching brads, along with a little machine stitching was used to form a banner across the top of the page.

Hello everyone!

While watching the Super Bowl I created three more layouts for the store!

The first one using the Far & Away Collection from Teresa Collins Designs and Creative Scrappers new sketch #246. Teresa's Collection is a perfect collection for my trip to India last year!







The next layout is also using her new Collection He said / She said using the She Collection, love the colors! I used my sons Homecoming picture with his girlfriend last October, they look so cute! I used a new sketch from Once upon a sketch - February 2013







And the last one, way overdue, using My Minds Eye Lost and Found 3, my niece Alex and my daughter Gaby with their cute smiles! I also used a Creative Scrappers sketch # 243

New product ...New layouts!

I spent Friday evening at the store working on sample layouts of the new product, I created 3 layouts, 2 using the new My minds Eye Collectable collection and one using Teresa Collins Memories Collection. This first layout is of my precious daughter and I am using the Memorable Collection, part of the My minds eye Collectable collection and using Creative Scrappers sketch #245.



The next layout is also of my darling daughter using the Notable collection also part of the My minds eye Collectable collection and using a new sketch from Inspired Blue Prints...I am so excited they are back! This is sketch #81



And the third one is using the Teresa Collins - Memories collection, this time I used a picture of my parents and I when I was a baby. I also used a sketch from Creative Scrappers, sketch # 244.
